Shooting Range Field “Pena da Revolta”
Facilities to practice skeet shooting.
The shooting range field dates from the year 1978 when the existing place was reconditioned and a social building was built. In 1979 a sports court was built in the place.
This field held Spanish Championships and it is also used by the police and soldiers for practising.
The Sociedad de Tiro al Plato Pena da Revolta was the society who promoted the creation of this field. This society was created in 1976 by a group of neighbours of As Pontes who shared their likes over skeet shooting.
After the creation of the field, a bar was set in the social building, and in 1989 a range for benchrest (25 and 50 metres) was built.
In 2000 and 2008 there were some reconditions to shelter new types of shooting.
