Camiño do Bispo

The “Camiño do Bispo” (Bishop’s Way) is an old route which used to connect the cities of Mondoñedo and Ferrol. Pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela used this path in the past. It covers around 100 Km between Mondoñedo and Neda, where it merges with the English Way coming from Ferrol.

The journey along this old route guides the walker through the mountains of Mondoñedo, Abadín, Vilalba and Xermade, where there is a descent to the soft valleys of As Pontes de García Rodríguez, As Somozas and San Sadurniño before the arrival in the village of Neda.
