The Casa do Mel (house of honey) is placed in a building in Goente, acting as an educational centre. Its aim is to educate and make people aware of the bees world and to technically help beekeepers.
In the building in Goente there is an exhibition about bee ethnography, and visits for all type of public are allowed. Explanations about bee culture are offered, together with educational courses.
