The "Casa Dopeso" is one of the most relevant cultural centres within the council of As Pontes.
It was opened in 1992 as a multipurpose building for the village. It belongs to the council.

It has three levels, ground floor and a cellar. In the cellar there is an exhibition room, an IT room (a room for the net Centros para a Modernización e a Inclusión Tecnolóxica. CeMIT), dressing room and several warehouses. On the ground floor we can find the assembly hall, with 218 seats and a stage for different activities; music, theatre, cinema, dance, conferences, meetings and any type of show.

On the first flour we find the offices of the Department of Culture and a small warehouse. The second floor is occupied by Social Services from the council of As Pontes, a multi-use room and the toilets. On the third floor there is a dance room and a machines room.

It gets its name in honour of Cesáreo González Dopeso, Doctor Dopeso, doctor and mayor of As Pontes between 1955 and 1960.
