Mount Caxado is the second highest point in the province of A Coruña, standing at 756 meters above sea level. It is an exceptional location to observe the beautiful landscapes of our region. On clear days, looking west, you can even see the Sisargas islands.
Like many other places in our region, Caxado also has its own legend, which speaks of the existence of a golden yoke buried in the mountain, destined to be unearthed one day by the hooves of goats.
The distinctive white ball you see at the summit of Caxado corresponds to a Spanish air traffic control radar.
