Mural "Dora, a ghreleira"

This mural opened the series "As Pontes enPEZAS". It was created by Luís Davila.
Luís Davila is a quite famous Galician illustrator. He is the author of a cartoon strip in press, “O Bichero”, where he shows reality with big doses of irony. In this strip it is very relevant Dora, a brave and fighter woman.

This mural was the first one in the project “A Pontes enPEZAS”. We can see a woman in a field shouting “Sacho, grelos and rocanroll”. The sacho (weeding hoe) represents tradition, the grelos (turnip greens) is a reference to the Feira do Grelo of As Pontes, and rocanroll (rock and roll) represents modernity.

This mural by Luís Davila is in Rúa Sergio Chaao, in the number 13, on the entrance to the Public Swimming pool.
