Mural "O camiño dos arrieiros" (The muleteers way)
The mural by Comeluz brings back to life to the muleteers who carried goods from As Pontes to the port of Bares.
The “Muleteers Way” was an old commercial route joining what is nowadays As Pontes and the port of Bares. Muleteers would travel along it with their beasts loaded with goods, on the top of the mountains of A Faladoira and Coriscada. The route has its origin in an old prehistoric path marked by megalithic burials.
The person in charge of creating this mural was the artist Sergio Pico, aka Comeluz.
This work is located in the crossroad of the Avenida de Ortigueira with the Rúa Ourense.
