The public cemetery of AS Pontes.
This growing of population in As Pontes made the plenary session decide to build a new cemetery in 1982. The place chosen was Os Alimpadoiros, in the north of the town.
On the entrance to the cemetery there is a modern calvary. This calvary was set to substitute an older statue representing the allegory of death, nowadays placed inside the cemetery.
