Church of the Assumption of O Deveso

Church of the Assumption of O Deveso

The beautiful parish church of O Deveso.
The present-day parish church was built in the year 1700 over a prior temple already existing in the low middle ages. The building has a rectangular ground plan. The northern wall creates a space used as sacristy and which is accessible both from outside the temple and from the high altar.

It has the traditional slate roof, and on the façade the vertical line is formed by a rectangular gate, an oculus, and the bell gable finished with pinnacles. It is dedicated to the Virgin of the Assumption.
