Praza do Carme (Carmel Square)
The beautiful square with a calvary from 1828.
The square is urbanized respecting the space dedicated to the chapel of the Virgin of Carmel, patron saint of As Pontes. The existence of the square is contemporary with the chapel. It preserves a stone calvary raised in 1828, which is one of the few examples that in its imagery represents the Child on the Virgin's arms.
