Mural "Na diferenza está a igualdade" (Equality lies in the differences)
This bright mural was made by people with different abilities.
Differences join forces. Two entities from As Pontes work together to prove it. A Xanela is an association of people with functional diversity created in the year 2000 and ARTPO is an association of artists from As Pontes created in 2012.
This mural work is part of the project As Pontes enPEZAS, and the artistic direction is carried out by Guadalupe Lago (therapist of A Xanela) and Lourdes Acera (drawing teacher of ARTPO).
On the mural we can see a garden where different flowers are born: big, small, with different colours… a way to make people aware of the fact that differences make us equal and that everybody is capable of everything.
This collaborative work is located on the pedestrian street in O Rego do Campo.
