Church of Saint Martin of Goente
The parish church of Saint Martin of Goente on the entrance to the mountains of Serra do Forgoselo.
The parish church is a building from the 20th century. It has a plain style with just one rectangular ground plan and with almost no decoration inside. The only remarkable aspect is the neoclassic altarpieces.
On the outside there are two very interesting calvaries. The one on the atrium has the capital and the cross engraved in serpentine stone. Some metres away, on the road to As Pontes, there is an old calvary made of granite.
Inside the atrium there is a mural of a map in memory of the places not longer existing in the parish due to the exploitation of the mine.
