The bus station of As Pontes is located in the Rúa 8 de marzo. It is formed by a huge bus shelter and a platform for buses.
This shelter is located in front of the building where the old bus station used to be, built at the beginning of the decade of the 90s. The building was restored in 2011 to house a multi-services building (the administrative centre), where the Council Archive, Local Police and Civilian Protection are located. When all this reorganisation takes place, the bus shelter is built to give service to travellers.
