Severiano’s Mill
The mill of A Vila.
This mill was in use between the years 1963 and 1989 thanks to the miller and turner Severiano Castro, and it belongs to one of the most relevant families in the field of industry in As Pontes, that of Severiano.
It was used to grind cereals and turn wood, taking advantage of the strength of the water from the river Eume. Nowadays, the mill is fully restored, both the building and the mechanism.
